Research Meetup

The IADE-POLIMI research meetup was held last Wednesday, April 7, at 16H30 Lisbon GMT. The event's main goal was to discuss the different areas of research everyone is dealing with. Everyone exposed their research topics, ending with potential collaborative research areas between Portugal and Italy colleagues.

Corporate Networking P2P Event

An invitation-only event to bring together business leaders across various sectors to share and learn best practices and actual case examples of the digital transition.

Reverse Pitch

Researchers and experts of IADE community attended a reverse pitch presentation of a company that submitted a challenge in reusable and eco-friendly packages. A multidisciplinary team is now preparing a proposal to support the company in the product development and go-to-market strategy.

Areas of Focus

This online seminar was held to:

  1. Promote networking among researchers with a shared common interest;

  2. Identify research areas of interest and unlock opportunities for collaboration with other researchers;

  3. Engage with researchers wishing to pursue additional research in these areas of focus.

Participants discussed their views and ended up with a set of exploratory research questions that match SDI.Lab areas of focus.

SDI.Lab Event Launch

Announcement: Strategic Design and Innovation Lab (SDI.Lab) has been launched in Lisbon at IADE on January 22, 2020. SDI.Lab is a partnership between UNIDCOM/IADE, Universidade Europeia, Lisbon, Portugal, and the Department of Design/CILAB research group of Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) Italy. The SDI Lab will undertake, promote and support research, training, prototype and experimentation activities, which fall within the domain of the following areas (not exclusive): Strategic Design, Innovation Management, Design Thinking, Gamification, Customer and Employee Engagement, Workplace Design, New Business Models and Disruptive Technologies. An amazing group of people from industry and academia joined forces to co-design the future activities and value proposition of SDI.Lab. Stay tuned for further updates.
